Warehouse Forklift Operator

Intercity Packers is the largest meat/seafood distribution company in Western Canada and part of the GFS Canada group of companies. We are looking for multiple permanent full-time Warehouse Forklift Operatorfor the day & night assembly teams in Richmond BC.

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, this position is responsible for order picking, sorting, shipping of all out-going frozen/fresh product being distributed to all customers.

If you are a reliable motivated person, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and can work well under pressure with minimum supervision. We want to hear from you! Both morning and night shifts are available now.

Job Requirements:

• Basic label making & computer skills
• Completion of high school
• Seafood product and food safety knowledge
• Forklift / Reach truck experience/certification is an asset
• RF scanning and/or Canopy program knowledge is a benefit
• Initiative, adaptable, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
• Efficient and accurate distribution and customer service
• Comfortable working in a cooler and freezer environment
