Intercity Packers is pleased to support your team or organization’s fundraising efforts. Intercity Packers offers top quality meat, seafood & oven-ready meals that practically sell themselves! In fact, top local Chefs and Restaurants across Canada have relied on these same products for the past 50 years to wow their patrons. Best of all, Intercity Packers products are excellently priced compared to similar items found at the grocery store, although this level of quality is hard to find anywhere else.

Through our Fundraising Program, we work directly with you to create a tailored fundraising experience. We aim to make the process as simple and effective as possible, so your organization can focus on what matters most—achieving your fundraising goals. Our delivery program is available for the entire Prairies, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Our goal is to make this a straightforward and profitable fundraising experience. For this reason we have 30 meat and seafood products available exclusively in our Fundraising product line. Our average fundraiser earns 20% of sales. You can check out a preview of our Product Guide below:

How to get started:

We’ll work with you to determine your fundraiser’s key deadlines, which will be in 3 stages:

• Selling Period: We recommend a shorter fundraising period, such as 2 weeks, so you can capture people’s interest quickly.
• Order Placement: this is the deadline to submit your Summary Order Form & final payment to Intercity Packers. (first Wednesday before noon after last day of fundraising period)
• Delivery Date: most items are made-to-order, so we generally need 11 days between the order placement date and the delivery date. 

Our fundraising department will also review the order minimum ($1500) for your specific delivery area. Delivery fees of $100 will apply if the minimum is not met.

Note: A pre-scheduled delivery & order placement date & time is critical and must be set in advance to ensure availability. 

Tips for Fundraising Coordinators

• Carefully and strictly follow all deadlines (i.e. selling period, order placement, and delivery dates).
• Emphasize payment policies. Do not allow exceptions. Intercity Packers is not responsible for missed payments from your participants.
• Remind the participants that they are handling perishable frozen products, so they need to plan their day accordingly on the day of delivery. We recommend taking the product home immediately after.
• Occasionally remind your sellers of the program and the timelines (ex. Delivery date, order due date)
• Review the sellers order forms for completeness and accuracy as soon as you receive them. Always double-check prior to submitting.
• It is important to quickly unload the product in an orderly manner. We encourage you to appoint someone to assist you.
• If participants aren’t able to make the scheduled delivery time, the Coordinator will be responsible for working with the participant for their order handout.
